Nicolás Jaramillo

Since I was young, I have been fascinated by people — curious about the invisible forces that shape our lives: relationships, emotions, culture, sexuality, trauma, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. Growing up in a multicultural environment in Ecuador exposed me to different ways of understanding life, and exploring those differences planted the seed for a lifelong exploration of what helps people grow, connect, thrive, and sometimes become stuck.

Like many of the people I work with, I have navigated periods of uncertainty, health challenges, emotional struggles, relationship difficulties, and transformative experiences that helped me see how interconnected these dimensions of life truly are. These experiences taught me that change is rarely a straight line — more often, it involves developing a different relationship with ourselves, our emotions, our bodies, our relationships, and the deeper questions that give meaning to our lives.

As part of my professional path, I was part of the Corporality and Sexual Communication Research Group (GICS), where I explored body-centered approaches and researched somatic practices for sexual difficulties — learning that transformation is rarely about technique alone, but about presence, and how the body can become a doorway to profound emotional, relational, and spiritual experience. I later continued training in Esalen Massage, bioenergetic therapies, and integrative sexuality approaches.

"Transformation is rarely about technique alone — it's about presence, and about the support, community, and integration that turn insight into lasting change."

As part of that journey, I developed a strong interest in psychedelic preparation, integration, and relational psychedelic therapy. When approached responsibly, these experiences can offer powerful opportunities for insight, integration, and a deeper connection to the mystery of life — work that also deepened my own connection to Andean traditions and other spiritual approaches to inner work.

I believe the true value of these experiences lies not only in the experience itself, but in the support, community, and integration that help transform insight into meaningful change. That conviction continues to shape my desire to teach and facilitate spaces where people can explore themselves and deepen their connection with both their own inner world and the humanity they share with others.
